Quadrille

Quadrille : SOLD, August 2019
This smart 6 ton centre cockpit sloop has had several of the major jobs tackled that bedevil the typical yacht of this age; the keel bolts have been replaced, she has a new mast, new engine and new diesel fuel tank. Thus refurbished she's recently been cruising about the west coast of Scotland. Remarkably, Quadille's only had two owners in the last 46 years. Of the earlier owners, it would seem that this is the boat that SO Gillett tested out if owning a Hillyard suited him. It did and he went on to commission the new build Hillyard, White Duck, in 1961 and another new build, Maymaid, in 1967. Prior to owning his first Hillyard, he had the Harrison Butler Z4, Leueen, later renamed Bismillah.
Quadrille has just been sold, August 2019, and new owner Ian's first voyage is going to be from Ullapool to Port Bannatyne which will be her new home port.
