In a Canadian Field in 1999
Now, almost 30 years later, while visiting my old home town, an acquaintance mentioned on 'old boat' in a field he thought I would remember.
Propped up by some blackberry bushes, (some growing through a missing plank) was unmistakably Zair. What a shame to see her in such poor shape. Years before my Dad and I enjoyed countless sails on board, including my first overnight sail across the Straits of Georgia in 25 - 35 knot winds.
