Windflower popped up on eBay, July 2018, as a restoration project. Nick Gates, the respected wooden boat shipwright, commented that she "Doesn't look too bad". She was last restored between 2002 and 2007 by sailing enthusiast Matt Knight and his partner, environmental artist Suzanne Hobbs, who have since moved on to a bigger boat, which they charter. Matt's a surfing enthusiast and instructor.
