Turkish Delight
The Association lost track of Wendy when she commenced a circumnavigation of the globe in the early 1980s. However, in 2014 she was spotted in Turkey and the above photograph taken. From the Association archives, I've ascertained that she is built to the Askadil design. I was particularly delighted to find a pen and ink drawing of her, reproduced below. The name Wendy can be seen on the stern.
Nigel Flower, who's father, Eric, was her custodian during the war years tells me that Wendy had a particularly successful regatta in 1939, winning a number of races. He'd love to know more about where Wendy is now.
