Restored to Lloyd's A1 Condition...
As an example of what is possible when a restoration is carried out by a fully funded professional, they don't come much better than Venture. Built in 1920 to an Albert Strange design, in 2008 Venture was probably in better condition than she had ever been. Part of the stunning good looks, that caused her to feature on the cover of Classic Boat, is thanks to the reinstatement of her original rig. She's kept a low profile since the restoration which is a shame as she is a marvellous 'poster girl' for what classic yacht ownership can be about.
For Sale, June 2018
Venture is For Sale with the Sandman Yacht Brokerage for £220,000.
