Family Boat, Still Much Loved
Rose Bugler has been in touch to say that Treize is owned by her and her father, Malcolm Cross, who is now 90 years old. Rose's grandfather, Frank Cross, owned Treize in the 1950s. They have moved her by road and sea transport from Cornwall to Stornoway Harbour Marina, Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides. Much work has been done on her including a new apron and fixing of the all important ring frame. Rose is determined to get Treize back in the water, and for her father to come aboard even if it means using a hoist in the marina !
A lovely, well used, Taylor's parafin cooker aboard Treize .
New, at Foxes' chandlery in Ipswich, one of these costs £1500.
