Talisker Of Lorne : Varnished Hull
Talisker Of Lorne is one of several Lorne Class yachts, a pretty design from the 1970s that has been described as McGruer's answer to the Folkboat although it's a bigger boat and has more of a similarity with Kim Holman's Twister design. Others in the class include Teko, Phaselus Of Lorne, Melindi Of Lorne, Wind Of Lorne, Elfin Of Lorne and Able (ex Kairos, ex Nymph Of Lorne).
Talisker Of Lorne was commissioned by Colin Tindal, a well known yachtsman in Oban, as a replacement for his Nymph of Lorne. She's currently (January 2018) For Sale with the Sandman yacht brokerage for £40,000.
