Starfire : Much Voyaged
Starfire's current owners, Kaspar & Trisha Schibli, completed a five year circumnavigation of the globe between 1993 and 1998. They have since rounded Cape Horn, as well as cruising the west coasts of Ireland & Scotland. The Cruising Club of America presented them with the 'Far Horizons Award' in 2015.
Originally called Starfire of Kent, she was renamed Kochab II in 1967 by Dr Franklen-Evans, who sailed her to New Zealand. I suspect it was the Schibli's who reinstated her original name. She features in the book The Proper Yacht by Arthur Beiser.
