1980s Build inspired by Harrison Butler's Designs
Spindle is an interesting take on Harrison Butler's designs although her lines are considered too different by Authentication Officer Paul Leinthall-Cowman for her to be accepted as being built to a genuine Harrison Butler design. However, she's a pretty boat in her own right, and is a welcomed as an “invited friend” of the Association. After a considerable time on the market at around £9,000 she was reported to have been sold, January 2017. Surprisingly she resurfaced for sale on FaceBook in August 2018 with an asking price of just £500. (Many thanks to Mike Kleyn for spotting this). Further investigation has revealed that Chuck Hunt bought her and has plans to restore her. We would, of course, love to hear how he gets on.
