Passing The Interview
May 2014 : Andrew Cocks writes:
Rose of Arden, like Tramontana, is a former boat of David Batstone. I went to see David on board in Woodbridge Marina in 2001 and found myself being interviewed as to my capabilities as a possible owner; an effective sales technique for I was thankful when permitted to buy her”.
Rose of Arden is stationed on the River Orwell, just past Woolverstone marina on the northern side. I picked up the buoy next to her on the start of my voyage from Ipswich to Cardiff, July 2014. She was a grand sight.
In February 2015, Andrew became the HBA Yearbook Editor.
This link, that involves Rose of Arden, will amuse and also illustrate why Andrew's a good choice for Yearbook Editor.
