Roma Of Rhu : Saxon design built to Lloyd's 100A1
This much admired yacht was built as a cruiser racer in 1960. She's one of the first of Alan Buchanan's Saxon class which replaced the Yeoman Mk 2 class in that year. A sister ship was built, Mijbil. Roma of Rhu been extensively cruised up and down the west coast of Scotland, including the inner and outer Herbrides, with any major works being carried out at Oban. Now, August 2017, for sale for £20,000 and in need of a little attention here and there.
