John Gibbs, who owned Naida over forty years ago,
has sent in this terrific photo of the boat zipping along under his command.
Emerging From Years Under Cover
During the 1990's Naida was laid-up for repairs but then remained in dry storage for years. During that time, considerable work was carried out by Lathams boat builders in Poole. Essentially a new 'old' boat, she changed hands during 2013, reportedly with a remarkably original interior. She is still in safe storage, her new owner, Mike Morgan, trying to sort out a few issues such as her original sail plan, with a view to getting her afloat once more.
