Marcita : Classic Sailing Club Delight
Marcita is described by River Orwell based boat charter company The Classic Yacht Club as an Alan Buchanan 'experiment' where the beam was as narrowest and the keel the deepest he designed for a 7 ton boat. Under their oversight she is still raced and entered into Classic Yacht regattas both in the UK and abroad, mainly France, and often by crews who have hired her for the event.
