Something Strange in Bombay
The three ton sloop, Florence, is to be found in the 1923 and 1924 Lloyd's Register of Yachts, attributed to Albert Strange. She is recorded as having been built in Bombay, where she was also stationed. It's a tantilising but frustrating glimps of a possible addition to the list of boats that are known to have been built to an Albert Strange design. However, the Lloyd's entries are submitted by owners and so the details and claims need to be authenticated by some other means. The challenge now is to verify or refute the claimed connection to Albert Strange - not easy from an isolated source from so long ago...
