Fiddler's Green; Norm Lehman's Boat In Good hands, May 2018
Michael Williams has thoughtfully been in touch to let us know that the late Norm Lehman's pride and joy, Fiddler's Green, is now in his care. Michael writes, “I wanted to let you know that Fiddler's Green has moved from the loving care of Norm and Gloria Lehman in Toronto, Canada, to me, Michael John Williams. I'm from Connecticut, New England, but Fiddlers' new home port will be Annapolis, Maryland. She is currently registered in the state of Maryland and will be federally documented this summer. She is in excellent shape and I intend to keep her as such. Norm loved this boat and I am so lucky to have built a friendship with him before cancer took him away. He was a great guy and is the reason Fiddler is quite frankly the showboat she is !”
A Little History
Although a Canadian built boat, Fiddler's Green is Lloyd's Registered with the result that I've been able to ascertain all of her owners and their dates of ownership. There are a few photographs of Fiddler's Green to be found on the internet. Of them I selected the above as it gives a lovely aspect of her underwater shape with the well maintained superstructure still visible.
