From The Telegraph, 29th June 2011
“Tired of the English weather, in 1983 George Glenn sailed his 24 foot Felicity Al to Paphos in Cyprus, where he was joined by Elaine, his wife. They spent three happy years on the island before, in 1986, moving to the Vendée region of France, where they renovated an old farmhouse. Elaine died six years later and Glenn returned with his dogs to live in Dorset, where he was closer to his son, David Glenn, the editor of Yachting World”.
