Faraway

Lost In The Bay of Biscay 1967/1968
In researching several of the boats that the Association has lost track of, I traced the history of Faraway* in the Lloyd's Registers. Often boats drop off the register with no reason given. However, Faraway* is recorded as being "Lost at sea" in the 1968 register. The story behind the loss is not known to the Association, although it is known that Faraway lies somewhere beneath the Bay of Biscay. The above picture of her has been found in an archive search, September 2015.
