Scottish Boat, Undercover
In 1992, former HBA President Joan Jardine-Brown was a guest of Hector & Iona MacNeill, who had Faolileag* (“Young Seagull”) sitting on their drive in Cambeltown, Scotland. Iona MacNeil is still a Full Member of the HBA and Faolileag is still under her care, although thought to be in need of restoration.
The Bon March design is a revision of a 1915 design entered in the Yachting Monthly Design Competition of 1921.
