Chouette Of Burnham : In Need Of TLC
Chouette Of Burnham was up for sale on the Apollo Duck website recently with an asking price of £5,000. She was the second of three Alan Buchanan designed boats commisioned by the Earl of St Germans. She was called Chouette from her launch in 1960 until 1965, then Couette Of Burnham until 1967, Poutá until 1971, before reverting to Chouette of Burnham. The Earl's third was also called Chouette between being built in 1965 and 1969, before being renamed Artemis, then Yavanna in 1978.
