Albertine : An English Built McGruer, In Scotland
Albertine was recently For Sale with the Wooden Ships brokerage, lying ashore in Argyll, Scotland. In spite of the location she was not built by the McGruers' yard in Clynder; she's one of a number of McGruer design yachts built by Harry Feltham in Portsmouth, England. According to Lloyd's, Harry built two McGruer designed yachts in 1960, Accolade and Marelle, renamed Dunamark. Possibly Albertine is one of these two boats, renamed. At any rate, she's a fine looking vessel. Update : (June 2018) Sold.
